Debbie Reinberg
Senior Consultant
Debbie joined Spero & Company Consultants in 2007. She has been an executive for a professional association, a healthcare/gerontology consultant and program developer as well as a business owner. She brings a breadth of knowledge about senior programs, superb research and analytical expertise, and exceptional organizational, financial and communication skills to this project.
She is known for her management skills, successfully juggling many balls simultaneously and keeping them all in the air. Her extensive understanding of various programs for older adults stems from experience gained through the development of hospital-based geriatric programs around the country. Responsibilities included the development of financial models, implementing all aspects of new programs, coordinating with hospital departments, and the design of marketing and training activities. She successfully applied this knowledge to the development of a Denver-based geriatric care management business, contracting with various care managers to deliver quality care to older adults and their families. As Executive Director for the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, Debbie strengthened the organization through expert communication skills, expanded service deliverables and the development and maintenance of collaborative relationships.
Debbie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at the University of Texas, Austin, and her Master’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Denver. Her hobbies include reading (popular literature and neuroscience), Mah Jongg, assorted pets and travel. An active participant of many business/geriatric associations, she was the founder of several groups. She has also held volunteer positions in her community.
